Question by : Can you help my delete this malware? I have the malware “Windows Security Tool” in my computer (it somehow installed itself.) Anyways, I’m trying to find some kind of free malware removal product until I can repurchase Avast! BUT– The name of the malware removal can’t have a name like “maleware_remover.exe” it has to have a different name so the malware doesn’t detect it. It has tried 25 times to update, but failed every time. Even if I uncheck it, it still remains and I keep being told I have this Security update. How do I get it out of my computer? Question by jc_millar: I keep getting a “Status Update” through Microsoft and it keeps failing. How do i stop this from occurring? I had gone to Windows Updates and one failed to load properly so now when i start my computer it keeps trying to downlosd it which keeps failing.
